Regarding brackets, they've consistently been one of the most requested features from our customers, and we've seen the community embrace them over time. From the start, we knew once we started including a bracket for each of our decks there would be disagreements about where certain decks belong. The bracket system is designed with some objective guidelines but also leaves room for interpretation.
Our brackets are determined by our experienced team after carefully studying the bracket system and drawing on our firsthand experience playtesting of every deck. We evaluate each deck's strengths and weaknesses as a team to determine which bracket is the best overall fit.
That said, While we believe the brackets we assign our decks are useful in determining power level, brackets can come down to interpretation and the expectations of a particular playgroup rather than a clear-cut right or wrong answer.
The vast majority of our decks fall within Brackets 2–3. The highest bracket we currently carry is Lorehold, the Historian at a 4, which is rated as such due to its mass land denial, a strategy not permitted in Bracket 3. We are actively working on updating Brackets on each listing, you can browse by bracket down below!
